During the production process of electroplating line in the workshop, the enterprise will generate wastewater and waste gases.
The wastewater treatment system mainly targets the wastewater generated by rinsing and immerse cleaning process during the busbar electroplating processes, which contains pollutants such as Cyanide, CODCr, SS, copper, LAS, petroleum, and ammonia nitrogen. This treatment system can be designed with a wastewater treatment capacity per custom request.
The exhaust air primarily includes cyanide, nitrogen oxides (NOx), acid mist, and alkali mist. These gases act as atmospheric pollutants and are transmitted through the air, posing significant risks to human respiratory health. To address these emissions, our company has conducted a thorough study based on the technical data and information provided by your company and hereby proposes the following waste gas treatment technical solution to ensure compliance with relevant emission standards.
A deionized water (DI) system removes dissolved mineral ions – such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and chloride – from tap or process water through ion exchange or reverse osmosis (RO) technology. The resulting high‑purity water is essential in applications where even trace contaminants could negatively affect product quality or equipment performance.
In the electroplating and surface finishing industry, deionized water is widely used for:
The key advantages of using deionized water include:
Our DI water systems are customized to meet your specific purity requirements (resistivity up to 18 MΩ·cm) and flow rates, ensuring reliable performance for your production line.
Treatment for Tin
Process Description
The acidic and alkaline exhaust streams are contained using ventilated tunnel enclosures with perimeter slot extraction hoods, then transported through corrosion-resistant ducting to a series of chemical scrubbers. These absorption towers utilize countercurrent alkaline and acidic spray systems to eliminate NOx, H2SO4 mist, HCl vapors, and caustic aerosols, ensuring final discharge concentrations comply with applicable emission regulations.
Treatment for Silver
Process Description
Primary Treatment: Cyanide-containing waste gas, under the action of the centrifugal fan, enters the alkaline scrubber tower using sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite or 0.1-0.7% ferrous sulfate solution as the absorbent. Under alkaline conditions, the cyanide-containing waste gas undergoes an oxidation-reduction reaction with hypochlorite ions, generating carbonate, nitrogen, chloride ions, and water. The reaction equation is:
2CN⁻ + 5ClO⁻ + 2OH⁻ = 2CO₃²⁻ + N₂ + 5Cl⁻ + H₂O
Secondary Treatment: After completing the primary treatment of cyanides, the gas enters the acidic scrubber tower using sulfuric acid as the absorbent. This process primarily absorbs alkaline substances such as carbonate and hydroxide ions.
After primary and secondary treatment, the cyanide-containing waste gas is finally discharged into the atmosphere through the high-altitude exhaust stack under the action of the centrifugal fan.
