Drawing Machine

The wire drawing machine is essential equipment in the wire and cable industry, used to reduce the diameter of metal rods (copper, aluminum, alloy, etc.) through continuous drawing via precision dies.

It can process large-diameter raw rods into fine wires of various specifications, providing qualified conductors for subsequent stranding, bunching, insulation extrusion, and cabling. According to processing requirements, it can be divided into breakdown drawing machines, intermediate drawing machines, and fine drawing machines, featuring stable tension, high efficiency, low wear, and easy operation.

It is widely used in the production of power cables, electronic wires, automotive wires, communication cables, and various metal wire products.

Breakdown machine: Rough forming, Inlet ≥ 8 mm, outlet 3.0–1.3 mm

It is mainly used for large-reduction drawing of thick copper or aluminum rods into thinner intermediate wire rods.

It typically adopts a multi-pass, continuous drawing structure with large-capacity pay-off and high drawing speed, enabling efficient reduction of wire diameter from thick rod to semi-finished wire for subsequent stranding or further processing.

This machine is widely applied in the pretreatment of copper and aluminum conductors for power cables, automotive wires, communication cables and other wire products, featuring stable operation, low energy consumption and high production efficiency.

Intermediate drawing machines:  Inlet approx. 3.0–1.3 mm, outlet finer → intermediate gauge transition

It is mainly used for the intermediate diameter reduction of metal wires such as copper, aluminum and their alloys, connecting rough drawing and fine drawing processes.

It is widely applied in producing conductors for power cables, communication cables, electronic wires, and semi-finished products for stranding and tin plating.

Our 4 wire drawing machine can draw 4 to 16 wires at the same time.

Fine drawing machine: Outlet below 0.1 mm, even micrometer-scale → precision fine wire processing.

Fine Drawing Machine, also known as fine wire drawing machine or super fine wire drawing machine, is high-speed precision equipment used to produce thin and ultra‑thin metal wires, mainly for copper, aluminum, alloy and other conductive materials.

It has high dimensional accuracy, excellent surface finish and stable mechanical properties.
