The HV foil winding machine is ideal for precision winding of high-voltage coils, while the LV foil winding machine excels at handling large cross‑section foils and can wind one to three copper or aluminum foils simultaneously. Featuring PLC control with a touchscreen interface, combined with constant tension control and automatic edge correction, the machines ensure tight, uniform coils with stable quality. Integrated TIG welding and automatic cutting functions significantly boost production efficiency, making them the perfect choice for transformer production.

LV foil winding machine for distribution transformer

LV foil winding machines, which are requisite for dry and oil type transformers as well reactor and amorphous alloy coils production. The LV foil winding machines are used to wind LV coils with Al or copper foil strip for distribution transformer. Generally one foil or two overlapped copper or aluminium foils are most popular. For our machines, till now we can meet four overlapped copper or aluminium foil to wind together.

The LV foil winding machine is suitable for the winding of the transformer and the reactor industry foil coil. Foil coils use different thicknesses copper or aluminum foil as conductor, use insulation tape as layer insulation, and are wound by the winding machine once, form a roll coil. At the same time, the lead welding and outer surface wrapping are also completed. Suitable for winding round, oblong, rectangular and square coils. The coil diameter and height range can be customized. The coil height can be from 100 mm to 1600 mm.

The HV foil winding machine is used to wind high voltage coils for cast resin encapsulated transformers with Al or Cu foil strips. The individual Al or Cu foil discs are wound on the prepared casting mould separately and continuously via a sliding device.

Total turns, segment turns (stop position); deceleration turns and quantitative movement etc can be set via touch screen. It can realize laser locating original position and error correction. 100 sets of coil parameter can be called.

Welding unit is TIG welder.

HV foil winding machine for cast resin transformers

This machine adopts electric active tension professional technology, tension is stable. When winding and stopping, winding and unwinding, foil and insulation can be controlled by constant tension to avoid varying tightness in the winding process. Photoelectric sensor is used to detect foil edges (non-contact), and foil deflection is corrected by a dedicated automatic deflection correcting mechanism. The system precision is high, speed is fast and reliability is good, the correction accuracy is ±0.4 mm.
