About COPPER STRIP
-Produced from two main feedstocks:
i. Recycled copper scrap (>96% purity or >99.5% purity) via CCR (Continuous Casting & Rolling)
ii. High-purity copper cathodes (>99.95% purity) via the Upcasting Line
-3 primary diameter ranges are manufactured:
i. Ø8–12.5 mm rod
ii. Ø12.5–30 mm rod
iii. Ø20–30 mm rod
-Ø8–12.5 mm rod can be further processed into:
Round wire (via breakdown and drawing machines)
Flat wire (via rolling/drawing or Konform TLJ300/300H)
-Ø12.5–30 mm rod is used to produce busbars (via Konform TLJ350/400H/500 and draw bench)
-Ø20–30 mm rod is converted into copper strip using the Konform TLJ630U process
