Aluminum cladding steel wire production line

In the power transmission and distribution system, it can be used not only as the reinforcing core of the wire, but alsoas the ground wire. Especially in the large-span project, the application of aluminum-clad steel (ACS) strands withdifferent conductivity shows its advantages.

 

ACS is used to replace steel-cored aluminum stranded wires on high-voltage transmission lines.

1) ACSR/AW (AS wire reinforced aluminum conductor)

2) TACR/AW (heat-resistant aluminum alloy ACSR/AW for large-capacity power transmission lines)

Process

Aluminum rod: Straightening-> Cleaning-> Drying

Steel Core: Straightening-> Degreasing, descaling and cleaning->Preheating

 

Combination of Aluminum rod and Steel core: continuous co-extrusion->Aluminum cladding->Cooling->Aluminum-cladding steel wire->Take-up
