Wire plating lines are mainly for three purposes: conductor protection, steel protection and surface conductivity.
The process are continuous. The plating lines are all customized. The line speed is up to 15m/s for copper wire plating.
There are different tanks for cleaning, rinsing, plating and other process. There are also wire driving drums, rectifiers, heating & cooling devices, control system as well as payoff and take-up. The functional tanks containdifferent solution. There are storage tanks for circulation with functional tanks for solution movement and cleaning. The parameters are preset by the operator on HMI. The line is always customized according to production target forcopper, aluminum and steel wire with tin, nickel, silver and copper coating and flashing.
